Delete your Guru account

Guru: Flashcard Study Coach is published by Rainverse LLC. You can delete your Guru account and the data stored with it at any time — in the app, on the web, or by email.

In the app

On Android or iPhone, open Guru → Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm.

On the web

Sign in at guruowl.com, open Settings → Security, and choose Delete account.

By email

If you can't sign in, email hello@guruowl.com from the address on your Guru account with the subject "Delete my Guru account". We'll reply to confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in methods, linked devices, and the study, review, sync, backup, purchase and credit records stored on our servers, including cloud backups and Anki sync files.

What is not deleted

Files you exported or saved yourself, and data on your devices until you uninstall Guru. Records kept by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry and other providers follow their own retention policies. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription — cancel it in the store first.
